I believe that this painting is a simple yet fine work of art.  It is interesting as it is different from Picasso's more "well known" types of paintings.  Even though Picasso used dull browns and grays and soft lines, the texture is very realistic.  This painting is borrowed from the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
